Find Your Way in Freedom Park

Helping everyone explore, discover, and connect with Atlanta's only public art park.

Freedom Park Conservancy has launched Find Your Way in Freedom Park, a phase one fundraising campaign to design a comprehensive signage program that will enhance navigation, accessibility, and community engagement throughout the city’s beloved 130-acre green space.

The comprehensive signage program will include gateway signs, directional wayfinding, maps, and informational signage highlighting the park’s rich art and history. Phase One, however, has an emphasis on wayfinding and directional signs, and is slated for installation in time for the FIFA World Cup in Atlanta in June and July 2026.

Freedom Park is Atlanta’s largest linear park, with over eight miles of multi-use paths connecting historic intown neighborhoods and cultural landmarks. The new signage program when completed will ensure both residents and international visitors fully experience the park’s beauty and amenities.

The Conservancy is raising $250,000 for this Phase One initiative. Grants are being sought, and the campaign has already secured $40,000 in donations and pledges. Organizers are calling on neighbors and park enthusiasts to demonstrate their gratitude for this vital community resource by contributing generously.

“Freedom Park has always been about bringing people together,” said Ann Cramer, Honorary Chair of the Campaign. “As Atlanta prepares to welcome the world in 2026, this project will help visitors and neighbors alike connect with the park’s history, culture, and natural beauty.”
